Every now and then some new features or visuals are coming to Linkedin. These last two are the Invitations and the Start a conversation. ![]() These features I could imagine having earlier, anyway I like and I fully understand why did these happened. Starting with the larger change of the Invitations. So, the whole Invitations and People You May Know came in to one site, under the grey Figure+ icon. Up until now you could see your Invitations in you inbox, under the Envelope icon.
This box helps you keep in touchwith your Linkedin Connections. From top to bottom, the arrows showing these features: 1. the name of the box 2. you can congratulate your connections with telling them happy birthday (I recommend writing a template for this, to switch from Linkedin's template, to your own. You can even add a URL, so they might click on it - this is a private message) 3. you can also congratulate your connections, but this is like a comment, so many people will read it. 4. there is a 3rd kind of conversation when you congratulate your connection for having a work anniversary, and this is also like a comment, so many people will read it. If you have a question about Linkedin, do not hesitate to ask me and I help you and all the readers explaining, clarifying, figuring out the issue and writing a blog post of it here. __________________________________________________________________ BIO: @TamasBANKI is a Linkedin Expert (@DrLinkedin).Joined Linkedin in 2007 and helped over 1700 professionals and students with Linkedin.
