Over 2,5 million people on Linkedin has in their Professional Headline this very non informative term.
2,768,538 In two days (my previous search for "Looking for" on Linkedin was run on February 28, 2015) from 2,768,538 it grew to 2,768,659, in half a day the number was raised by 662 to 2,769,321 in an other few days (March 5, 2015) this figure is 2,777,510 in only 1 hour it grew with 42... Go-to-point If you are looking for a job, you should be the one-and-only. A go-to-point in your business, your profession. Though it isn't enough to have a good, personal and unique Professional Headline, but its a good start. Professional Headline My solution would be think of yourself as a unique human being, a unique professional. Write some 3-5 Professional Headlines (120 characters long, add your phone number, domain name (as: DrLinkedin.com), use internet kitsch like I do in my Professional Headline [This symbol is red on phone and tablet: ♦ This is a crown ♛ This symbol tells that this is a phone number: ✆ These fingers are helping your readers know what do you think of yourself: ☛Your personal Linkedin Expert☚] If you don't want to get a bad job, use "looking for" in your Professional Headline, but use something makes you look professional. Be an active member of Linkedin. I wrote in May 2014 about how to write a Professional Headline as PROs do. How to Why I DO NOT recommend you to use this, is that the laziest recruiters are searching for this term. And see, they could find you. And here you show how desperately you are looking for a new job. I know it is hard, but remember, you areA UNIQUE PROFESSIONAL! Act like that. Have a professional Professional Headline!
