3 dots & the cogwheel is the new signs of settings, editing on Linkedin. Not only them are hidden, there are some other thingies you might would like to find... But can not, if you don't know where to.
The 3 dots are the newer ones, but still quite hidden.
You can see them in Linkedin Groups. Either in the Post area, in the upper right corner, near the "age" of the post.
Or at the same place in the Comments.
Cog wheel sometimes simply invisible and you can only see them with a mouse over = you put your mouse/cursor to the right are and then it shows.
In the Linkedin Profile setting there you can set up your Linkedin URL, but not everyone of you might know how. It is simply starts with finding the setting's cog wheel.
This cog wheel is ONLY shown if you pull your mouse/cursor over the right area, which is where your Linkedin URL is.
An other feature you can only see with mouse over is the drop down menu's little arrow sign, seem to be a "v". This sign comes up quite often, if you know where to find.
Here you can find it in the Linkedin Updates, on the Home page.
If you see one's - or your own - Recent Activity, you can have this drop-down menu.
An other hidden thingy is seen with mouse over in the My Network -> Connections drop-down menu, here you can see that this person and I have 38 common connections on Linkedin.
